French firm hopes to sell cleaning products in UK

A soap manufacturer based in France is hoping to link up with distributors in the UK in order to sell its products to domestic cleaning enthusiasts.

The soap produced by Savonnerie de l’Atlantique could prove favourable with those who hold a green ideology as it is organic.

Representatives of the firm are set to attend the PLMA Private Label International trade show in Amsterdam between May 24th and 25th 2011.

It is said to be the only company of its kind in France to utilise the “Marseille method”, which means its range of soaps contain no preservatives whatsoever, making the products pure.

Bosses also pride themselves on producing goods that have not been the subject of animal testing at any stage.

Whether for Window Cleaning or one off spring cleaning, the soaps offered by Savonnerie de l’Atlantique are tailored to suit end users and a range of different fragrances are utilised.

The business, which is based near Nantes, set up its first factory in 1947 and the complex is said to cater for the requirements of producing Marseille-style soap.

US-based Midland Daily News recently suggested using soap and water is an effective way of cleaning windows.
