Floorcare company Vax has launched a new campaign focusing on the need for Carpet Cleaning.
It is estimated that 80 per cent of homes in the UK have carpets and 43 per cent of householders have at least one pet. However, less than ten per cent have a device that is capable of carpet cleaning and washing.
Research estimated that this can mean some families spend around £150 each time they have to call in the professionals to carry out carpet cleaning, with some households even resorting to regularly replacing their carpets and avoiding light coloured carpets.
However, Vax believes that a new campaign will encourage more people to purchase carpet cleaning and hard floor cleaning machines.
“Britain is famously a nation of carpet lovers and a nation of pet lovers, yet many families still lack the basic equipment they need to keep their carpets clean,” explained Vax’s marketing director, Liz Cope.
She added: “Our campaign shows that you really can have children, dogs and cream carpets.”
Vax recently launched the new Rapide Ultra 2 carpet cleaner machine with a 30-second television commercial as part of its £1 million marketing campaign.
