Television’s cleaning expert Aggie MacKenzie has warned people they need to ensure they carry out an effective one-off spring clean to help tackle a number of problems.
Kirkintilloch Herald reports that the Channel 4 star is calling on households across the South East to improve on their Domestic Cleaning skills following research that claims 30 per cent of residents in the region clean their home less than once a year.
In a joint campaign with pest control firm Rentokill, Ms MacKenzie is hoping that improved domestic cleaning and encouraging one-off spring cleaning, will reduce the amount of pests found in people’s homes.
She added: “At this time of year when pests become more active, it’s essential to go through your home room by room to detect signs of infestation and take preventative action.”
The presenter first appeared on television on the popular How Clean is your House? Series, which ran for six seasons in the UK and two series in the US.
