Sharps vision could increase after builders cleaning needs

An increasing number of people could require After Builders Cleaning Services in the near future if the pleas of housing minister Grant Shapps are acted upon.

Mr Shapps wants to see a “self-build revolution”, where more people are encouraged to construct their own abode rather than wait for a suitable property to become available.

He has called on mortgage providers to offer more loans to house hunters who are looking to construct their dream home.

Around 15,000 self-build projects are completed each year, but Mr Shapps is keen for this number to grow considerably.

It is also important, in his opinion, for the stigma of the process only being achievable by high wage earners to be removed.

Indeed, he stated that DIY-builds are “not just the preserve of the privileged few and as the mortgage market continues its recovery, lenders have the ideal opportunity to diversify lending into areas such as this”.

Should loan providers heed these pleas, more people could be in need of cleaning companies to remove building materials that have been used during construction.

The government has recently launched its FirstBuy scheme, which is aimed at helping first-time buyers on to the property ladder.
