Firms that provide Office Cleaning Services may be required in the coming days to sort out properties that have been flooded.
Following the very brief heat wave over the weekend, the Met Office and Environment Agency have warned that some parts of the UK could experience flash floods this week.
The south and eastern parts of the country are expected to receive the brunt of the anticipated torrential downpours, although this could spread to the Midlands as well.
Representatives at the Environment Agency have stated the chance of rivers bursting their banks is low, but some areas may see between 25 and 50 mm of rain.
The agency has recommended homeowners and office workers to keep an eye on weather forecast updates and to monitor pools of surface water that may prove problematic.
Office cleaning firms may be drafted in to tidy up part of a block of flats in south London, after it caught fire yesterday (Tuesday June 28th 2011) having been struck by lightning.
This was just one incident of this nature in the south-east, as disruption was caused at Gatwick Airport when an air traffic control tower was also hit by a lightning bolt.
