The domestic cleaning industry is said to be “thriving” in 2011, despite many people still harbouring fears over economic recession.
This is according to Martin Scott, who is the exhibition sales director at the Cleaning Show, which took place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham earlier this month.
Mr Smith highlighted the attendance of 7,652 at the three-day event as testimony to the notion that Cleaning Services are still widely sought-after.
Having analysed visitor satisfaction figures following the event, organisers indicated the multitude of companies that provided exhibits at the show had thoroughly impressed attendees.
“The Cleaning Show 2011 exceeded all our expectations and was a clear demonstration that the UK cleaning industry continues to thrive despite tough economic times,” Mr Smith remarked.
At the 2011 Cleaning Show, visitors were able to tour a designated “green zone”, which showcased a number of environmentally-friendly products to those hoping to gain tips on how to conduct their spring cleaning.
