A Canadian city is deploying a team of After Party Cleaning specialists to ensure the place is spick and span for when Prince William and Princess Catherine arrive.
Charlottetown will play host to the newly married couple on Sunday (July 3rd 2011) and everyone is keen for the popular duo to be suitably impressed with the cleanliness of the area, the Guardian reports.
However, in the days leading up to the high profile event, thousands of people will be celebrating Canada Day in Victoria Park with firework displays expected.
The Charlottetown Summerfest is also scheduled to finish the night before the Royals descend on the conurbation and manager of the city’s public works department Paul Johnston believes it will be all hands on deck to spruce the place up in time.
“There’s a tight turnaround on things,” he told the publication.
Mr Johnston insisted he would call for more people offering cleaning services if the job gets too much to handle.
People across the North American country are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the couple just a few months after their wedding, which gripped the globe and Canada Post has launched a new stamp to mark the visit.
