General Manager (Buying & Merchandising) - Retail Kuwait, Middle East A leading specialty retailer of Children's wear, toys, accessories, maternity and entertainment based in Kuwait is seeking the "right fit" for a new role within this innovative and award winning company.
As the General Manager Buying & Merchandising, you will be responsible for running the entire Buying & Merchandise operations, playing a key role in determining product offering through strategic product acquisition. You will lead efforts in identifying trends, selecting new products, and enhancing merchandise assortments.
Previous experience as Senior Buyer, Business Manager or Merchandise Manager in toys, fashion apparel and accessories is an asset to secure this exciting new role.
Your extensive experience in senior & middle management buying roles, coupled with your innate ability to develop and grow those around you will be tested as you play a key role as an agent of change.

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a relative discipline.
8 years' relevant experience in product-related roles.
Great Team building skills.
Expert merchandising skills and thorough understanding of the product process from "Sourcing to Selling".
Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude, retail math and computer skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluency in English is mandatory for this application.
