Global Sourcing & Procurement Manager-UK/Spain

You will be a key player in helping drive major global growth and increasing market share of one of Europe’s largest furniture installation companies. As Global Sourcing and Procurement Manager you will be responsible for ordering new and existing lines. You will work with carefully selected Far East factories and European suppliers. This role offers a broad range of challenges to the successful candidate with responsibilities that include: - Working closely with factories to ensure correct packaging and container utilisation is achieved - Budget management and liaison with internal and external accounting departments. - Sourcing suitable suppliers in conjunction with the designers and logistics Managers. - Negotiating total costs. - Commissioning prototypes. - Making sure correct labelling and marketing designs are on all products. - Working with the Quality Manager to ensure products meet all requirements. Work between head office and sales functions based in UK and the distribution based in southern Spain. The ideal candidate will be a lateral thinker, and practical problem solver, with an instinctive understanding of buying processes. You will be a great negotiator and an excellent communicator across all cultures. You will have experience of Far Eastern sourcing and supplier management and be able to work to project deadlines.
