Senior Manager - Gibraltar

This expanding Gibraltar office, part of global insurance giant, is looking to add to its senior management team. Reporting to the MD and supporting the Board you will have responsibility for one of the key service team administration departments within the company. You will also have responsibility for clients with annual revenues in excess of $1 million. You will be asked to apply strategic and operational planning agreed by the Senior Management Team and the Global Risk team to your own team. You will have overall accountability for the team evolution and development and be in charge of setting the budgets for it. Besides this you will be supporting the MD in carrying out projects ranging from marketing campaigns to internal operational reviews. One core function will be to maximise recovery rates against time costs and to review this on a quarterly basis. Above all as a member of the senior management, you will set “the tone at the top”, by leading and motivating your team by your own example. Besides your internal management duties you will act as the “Operational Executive” for an agreed portfolio of clients. You will assume responsibility for client service excellence. To be considered you will be a fully qualified accountant, with considerable management experience. You must understand good technical knowledge of insurance, reinsurance and the industry and be aware of captive and insurance industry developments and external issues including tax, legal, accounting & finance.
